A gray morning seafront. An elderly man arrives at a weathered bench with two paper cups of tea, placing one beside him out of habit. A little girl watches him talk softly to empty space. She walks over and points at the extra tea. He smiles gently saying 'It was my wife's seat.' The girl sits in the seat. He laughs with tears in his eyes as gulls wheel overhead. Grief becomes companionship instead of silence.
